After being hit by a truck while on my bike, and a 2.5 week stay in hospital, I still needed therapy to potentially reach my pre-accident level. Elizabeth was essential to work on my multi system injuries. Her knowledge of brain injuries was deep and very needed. Strength and stretching was invaluable. Support from other PTA’s was also needed. Very supportive environment all around. Home program was a great way to enhance recovery. I would highly recommend Active PT.

Active Therapy is the place to be when you need physical therapy. From the ease of scheduling an appt, to therapists who really listen to your concerns…..you’ll know you chose the right place. Appt includes welcoming staff, and a hot cup of coffee, a chocolate or mint.. if you so choose, while you wait for your scheduled appt time. Your therapist will ask about your activity level and address concerns you may have. This is followed by an evaluation of your range of motion, strength and mobility. This determines proper stretches and strengthening exercises to be used. From the warm up bike to the stretches/exercises in a private open door room to the bright, clean activity room, you will work together with your therapist to gain your strength and motion back! *Bonus You will also receive printed exercises for home use to help you more rapidly return to your normal activities ….pain free! What is not to love about Active Therapy?? From friendly, thoughtful staff to your personalized, attentive, encouraging therapist, to the return to natural movement and strength….. You won’t be disappointed.

The Therapists at Active are kind, cheerful and knowledgeable. They’re willing to work with you, your schedule and I much appreciated their willingness to reschedule because of bad weather. I was able to heal without surgical intervention. I would totally go back if needed in the future.

I injured my rotator cuff and was sent to Active Physical Therapy by my doctor. From day one the staff was super friendly. I was tested and then a plan was set for my recovery. Each day I came I was challenged a little bit more. I was also given exercises to do at home which I did faithfully. I had to cut my therapy short by 2 weeks due to going to Arizona for the winter. I have improved 80% at this point and was encouraged to continue with home exercises to reach my goal of full recovery. Thank you Elizabeth, Amy and Jordan for working with me, encouraging me, and believing in my full recovery.

This was my second hip replacement that they helped me recover from. The facility is clean and well staffed and flexible with appointment schedules. All the trainers did a fantastic job getting me back to my normal routine. I highly recommend them.
